Cantalejo D\u00edez, Professor at the Public University of Navarra (UPNA) and main coordinator of the co-funded Erasmus+ project NEMOS, gave a conference on <em data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"353\">How to transfer the sustainability competences through green pedagogies and service-learning<\/em> at the <em data-start=\"361\" data-end=\"431\">12th International Conference on Sustainable Development \u2013 ICSD 2024<\/em>, on 12 September 2024 in Rome, Italy. In particular, Prof. Cantalejo focused on the final project results of NEMOS, consisting of practical sessions held to train university lecturers who teach in different degrees to effectively integrate sustainability in Higher Education.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"1344\">The <em data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"768\">International Conference on Sustainable Development<\/em> was organized by the <em data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"834\">European Center of Sustainable Development<\/em> in collaboration with the <em data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"901\">Canadian Institute of Technology \u2013 CIT<\/em>. ICSD 2024 was inspired by the critical challenge of human, environmental, and economic sustainability concerning present and future generations in a global-scale context. The conference theme was <em data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1192\">Creating a unified foundation for Sustainable Development: research, practice and education<\/em>, aimed at emphasizing the strong foundation that is provided by using research to inform our everyday practices, policies, and analytical approaches.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1687\">The 2024 edition provided a forum for sharing ideas, presenting research findings, and discussing professional issues relevant to Sustainability Science. This ambition proceeded in a multidisciplinary way across various fields and perspectives, through which we can address the fundamental and related questions of Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1689\" data-end=\"2032\">As an outcome of the given conference, the article entitled <em data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1856\">Transferring sustainability competences through green pedagogies and service-learning in Higher Education<\/em> has been published in the <em data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"1928\">European Journal of Sustainable Development<\/em> in February 2025. <a href=\"https:\/\/ecsdev.org\/ojs\/index.php\/ejsd\/article\/view\/1649\/1608\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1947\" data-end=\"2029\">Access the article<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mar\u00eda J.
